Today was the last game of the season. I was really surprised how much playing time Mitchell got on this new team. I was also worried about how he would fit in being the new guy. These kids were so nice. He had friends right off. They really took care of him. Someone always had their arm around him, alot of high 5's and body slams. He even got to go to a birthday party for one of the boys and had a great time.
This was my favorite play.

ReplyDeleteThat seriously brings tears to my eyes! Man, I love football. I'm so sad it's over! BTW... Reece had to have one of those big old X's on the back of his helmet because he was 20 lbs over the 165 weight limit.
ReplyDeleteSusan! Yeah, I'm so glad to see you have a blog. I had no idea until I saw the comment you left on mine. Yipee! I am seriously a slacker when it comes to posting things. I have a list of things I need to post that goes back to the beginning of September! Another reason I haven't posted is that I have been thinking of making my blog private. I have heard lots of scary things lately.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great shots of Mitch's game! What kind of camera do you have? I need a new one..mine is on the fritz. :(
I missed you guys in Park City. I heard it was a blast. We need to plan another one! Have a great day! :)

Mitch is so small compared to them. But what he lacks in height he makes up for in attitude, right? Not bad attitude but just I know who I am attitude.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are great! I love them all until the tackle. That kid is such a natural athlete. Enjoy your time until basketball...I think we only have a few more weeks! Thanks again for the dinner! We loved it even without the biscuits and coleslaw. You are such an amazing friend!
