A creepy birthday.

Happy birthday, Max! (my nephew). He is 10 today. He is a very kind hearted kid. He is very sensitive and always looking out for others. He does not like contention and does not like when others feelings are hurt. But he loves creepy stuff! He wanted a cake with a zombie and also wanted it to ooze out blood when it was cut into. I am not really familiar with what zombies look like, so this was the best I could come up with. When Max saw it he acted very happy and was very gracious and appreciative. I asked if it was what he wanted and he said "Well, I was thinking of a zombie laying down across the cake so when you cut it..." then I cut him off and said "I am sorry. I didn't really understand what you meant" and he said "that's o.k- this is better!" So sweet. Then he said again how much he loved it, but next year could I do the same thing only make the skin green ............... So I had to fix it!!! Happy birthday, Max!!!

  1. You are amazing!!! What a cool cake. I'm glad you saw my blog where I bragged about you and your cake decorating skills. I was going to e-mail you and tell you I did that.

Tomorrow is my little boys's birthday. My cupckakes would look so sad next to anything you do. Actually, my cupcakes would look sad next to anyone's cupcakes. I am not skilled at frosting. Oh well... good thing we aren't in a contest.

Hope things are going well for you!! I'm determined to have a good week and lose some weight even with the cupcakes staring me in the eye. How about you?

  2. That is the creepiest cake I've ever seen! I bet Max loved it! You have too much talent for one person...it's not fair! I'm glad I found your blog. I laughed my head off when I found "The Blog" and "The Blog's Twin".
