When Christmas Comes to Town

All ready to go, but had to wait for another hour...

Greeted by Mitchell and cousins after the performance, who showered her with flowers.

Then Aunt Linda and Uncle Steve.

Emery had a few more fans (including Mom and Dad) who attended but did not get pictures taken.

Thanksgiving?!?!?!?

Happy Halloween!

Mitch was not interested in Halloween this year. He did not want to dress up, and he wanted to spend the night hanging out with friends, not family. He decided he would dress as a Cowboys fan so he could Trick or Treat with friends.

Emery and I went to Linda's. She fed us dinner and lots of fun! She made these pumpkins and bags for the family AND all the trick-or-treaters who stopped by. The bags were loaded with candy and toys.

Then she had time to make these.....

It was raining while we ate dinner, but stopped when we were ready to head out. SUCCESS!

Lagoon

I've decided that holidays are the best day to go to Lagoon. We went on the 4th of July last year and loved how crowded it wasn't. At the last minute we decided to go on Labor day. It was not crowded at all, and even better than last year because it wasn't so hot. I don't think it got warmer than 72 degrees. We got there at about noon and by 1:30 we had gone on more rides than we usually do all day.

Emery invited Grace and Mitch invited his friend, Dawson, from his football team. I spent the first half of the day with the girls and Dan went with the boys. Dan got sick from all the rides he went on so he took a break and hung out with the girls for a while.

Grace kept begging to go on the Terror ride, but I kept saying no because she closed her eyes and plugged her ears for the entire time in Dracula's castle. She asked Dan to take her and she ducked down the entire ride.

Ofcourse we had to spend way too much on food.

We hooked up with Mitch and Dawson.

Emery was at the front of this ride, but all you can see are her hands.

I asked Mitch to take Emery on this roller coaster ride and he was embarrassed and thought he was too old..............

but then snuck on this ride.......

Grace begged to go on the Terror ride again and promised Mitch she would keep her eyes open if he would take her. This is Mitch giving her a lecture because she didn't.....

We stayed until they closed at 7pm ending with the Sky ride. Fun stuff!
